About

Nelson is a co-founder and leads the Product and Design teams at Swing Therapeutics, a digital therapeutics company based in San Francisco, CA.

Previously, Nelson founded and led Slalom San Francisco's design consulting practice. Over the years, he developed digital products and strategies for leading Bay Area and global companies, across industries from energy to architecture, and from biotech to financial services.

Nelson's expertise spans product strategy and management, interaction design, organizational development, and systems thinking. He has a passion for addressing healthcare, environmental and sustainability issues with entrepreneurship, teamwork, and cutting edge technology .

Nelson graduated with honors from San Francisco State University’s product design masters program, and holds undergraduate degrees in finance and economics from Michigan State University, with additional coursework in politics, philosophy and economics at the University of Oxford.
